This calculator estimates the length of a vertical antenna based on operating frequency, selected wavelength fraction (¼-wave, ½-wave, etc.), and velocity factor.
The formula used is: \[ \text{Length (m)} = \left( \frac{300}{\text{Frequency (MHz)}} \right) \times \text{Wavelength} \times \text{Velocity Factor} \]
The output is given in both meters and feet. A velocity factor of 0.95 is typical for many real-world applications, but may vary based on construction and materials.
